Here are a pair of Zenith Royal 1000D Shortwave Transistorized Transoceanic portable radios. Both of them need restoration but should be able to get one good one from the two and a good source for lots of spare parts. First one is a Royal 1000D chassis 9CT41Z2, case is pretty rough but chassis looks good and complete, volume/tone and tuning knobs are all there (no bandswitch knob), front looks good, front door is all there but top section is loose, no logbook, antenna extends ok, handle has a slight crack but isn't too bad, probably not playing, battery box missing. Next one is a Zenith Royal 1000D chassis 9AT41Z2, case isn't too bad with some pitting, and chassis looks very good, complete with good looking battery holder, top part of front door is missing, handle has a crack but not too bad and the antenna is ok, all the knobs are there anyway. radio doesn't play.
