Tempo Progressive 600LS Tone Probe Generator Test Set This is a brand new Tempo 600LS Tone Test Set. The 600LS Tone Test Set is Tempo's most comprehensive, "must-have" tool for professional telecom / datacom service and repair. Much more than a traditional tone generator, the Tempo 600LS incorporates a traditional tone signal familiar to the 77M and 77HP tone generators with several time saving test functions normally only found on much larger testers. Tempo's (formerly Progressive Electronics) redesigned state-of-the-art telecom installation and repair test set is now more durable and weather resistant. The battery compartment has been enlarged to hold two 9V batteries for improved talk power when establishing a talk circuit between two butt-in test sets. This makes the 600LS the only compact full-featured tone generator capable of powering two DataSafe butt sets. Traditional alternating tone signal for wire identification. Line 1 & 2 polarity testing with 4-conductor modular plug. Audible line condition testing; level indicates dead, off-hook and working lines. Improved Talk battery supply for communication over inactive pairs. Audible resistance level measurement. Time & test functions using either modular plug or 24" alligator clip leads. Fully compatible with Tempo's 200B, 200EP, 200FP, and 200GX tone probes. Also compatible with most commonly available tone probes such as those from Aines, Harris, and Test-Um. Fits into the same 700C soft case that's the standard of the 701K and 801K tone probe kits. An optional leather belt holster is available as Tempo part number 600CS. Power - One 9V battery for normal operation, two 9V batteries required for talk mode, nominal life 100 hours. Transmitter frequency - 900/1100 Hz alternating nominal Transmitter power into 600 ohms - 7dBm Talk battery into 600 ohms - ~18 VDC Voltage protection at 600 ohms in RES mode - 52 VDC (higher in other modes) Returns will only be accepted for items returned within 7 days.
