This is a vintage Robbins & Myers 115 volt electric motor that works like a charm despite the cord being repaired with tape and one of the brushes (?) being held in with tape. It is 1/4 horspower and carries the serial # - MM10099MO.The motor is mounted on a stand that looks like it might have held a grinding wheel at one point. There is another mounting piece that was obviously made to be used with the stand on which the motor is mounted but I have no idea how the two fit together. The motor housing is small - 6 1/2" by 4 1/2" by 3 1/2" tall. The piece to which the motor is attached is 7" by 10 1/2". There are three other numbers cast into the stands/brackets - 24-G4 (on the piece holding the motor), G24-7 (on the loose piece) and G10 ( on the shiel where the grinding wheel would fit.
