The ABI Doppler or Ankle Brachial Index, measures peripheral artery disease or PAD. The American Heart Association, American Diabetes Foundation, and National Institute of Health, recommend using the ABI to identify patients who may have reduced peripheral circulation and may be at a higher risk of strokes and heart attacks. The ABI Kit includes everything you need to perform a exam including a CD that shows how the exam should be performed.
