This is a general purpose, low noise, wideband amplifier that provides 20 dB gain to signals in 50 ohm systems from 0.1 to 400 MHz. This amplifier can been used as a pre-amplifier to improve sensitivity of a spectrum analyser. I have tested the amplifier and confimed that it powers up and provides approximately 20 dB of gain using a spectrum analyser, 280 MHz.calibration signal. It comes complete with the original operating and service manual, power cord and an spare power supply board that also works. The spare power supply board is displayed here. The unit is switchable 115/230 Volts AC (50 - 400 Hz). Cosmetically, the amplifier is in excellent condition with only a few minor marks and scratches on the case from wear.
