I would imagine this is only needed for continuous opperation of the motor and if used in a cyclic fashion it is not needed. You will have to test this for yourself to know for sure. This is the position of the fan in relation to the motor when assembled. This is the ID plate of the motor for the fan. This is a closeup of where the fan blows into for dimentional purposes.
