* This is a very old chain come along, used for stretching barbed wire fences. * On the body are raised letters "PACE WOVEN WIRE FENCE CO." * The other side states "Patd June 18, 1895." WOW!!! * Total length of this piece is 22". * Cog gear ratcheting is the mechanism that works perfectly. * Lever type handle well used, maybe slightly bent. * Large eyelet at one end to connect to fence post, etc. * Well rusted but so neat and would clean up if preferred to preserve with a clear coat.
