Hughes Network Systems DownConverter Functional Description of this DownConverter as per Hughes Network Systems Manual: The Downconverter Module (DCM) receives the 895 MHz air to ground receive band signal from the Low Noise Amplifier (LNA). The incoming signal is downconverted to an IF at 21.4 MHz, filtered, amplified by high intercept point amplifiers and then routed to the IF output port. The DCM provides a conversion gain of 24.5 dB +/-3 dB over the input band of 895 MHz +/-1 MHz. The DCM provides the following interfaces: RF Input: 895 MHz, single channel dynamic range -86dB to -72 dBm nominal IF Input: 21.4 MHz, the output level will be the input level + 24.5 dB +/-3 dB LO Input: 873.600 MHz nominal, -10 dBm (Hughes downconverter module; cellular 895 mhz. lower $$ was posted and is owned by: Kaitlin Acevedo) |
