Supplementing existing door locks with extra locks provides excellent burglary protection. The unique keys of the extra lock provide additional security for people in apartments, because no one can get in with just a master key. The patented, self-blocking bolt secures the door to the door frame, making it very hard to break through the door. The locking mechanism is well protected inside the lock housing, door and escutcheon, which makes it difficult to attack this vital part of the lock. The components of the FAS 309 meet the requirements of Swedish Standard SS 3522, class 3. FAS 309 is an extra lock intended for entrance doors in private houses, commercial buildings and other environments requiring extra security. The FAS can be set for Key Alike with the traditional FAS tumbler lock range. The format of the lock matches the most common extra locks on the market. This makes it easy to upgrade from an older extra lock to the highest security. The new, softer design makes the key easier to grasp. Remember not to lock the extra lock if anyone is in your home.
