Distech D1100 is a portable robotic cell made by Distech Systems with Denso robot arm. It is a compact machine tool loader that is capable of loading and unloading both trays and conveyors. Weighs less than a ton, it can be moved from one machine to another with just a pallet jack. It can be set up next to any machine tool and feed parts directly from a conveyor or tray to your chuck, spindle, fixture or the machine tool loader. Repetitive machine tending reduces costs and tedium. The DS1100 can function as a mini work cell. During the machining process, the seven-axis Denso robot can load or unload auxiliary equipment. The Denso robot can load in less than 2 seconds and cycle in less than 10 seconds. Also transfer parts to secondary operations such as washing, inspection or marking. Two drawers will accommodate a tray of up to 18" by 24". Trays can be wire, injection molded, vacuum formed or heat treated.
