Item is a Stabilock 4039 Service Monitor. Unit specs and basic operations are similar to the 4040: see: http://www.helmut-singer.de/pdf/schlumstabi4040.pdf. Unit range is 400kc to 960 MHz Unit frequency resolution is 10 Hz across the range. Output range is -120 dbm to 7dbm Output is in dbm or volts (50 ohm) Modulation is variable to 2 places from 0 to over 10kc Condition is generally good. There are some scratchs and wear. Item is in good general working order. The picture shows it receiving a 145.65 MHz FM signal from a Cushman CE-50. The modulation is 2kc and the frequency difference between the two units is 108 Hz (the Cushman was cold). The following has been tested: Transmit CW and FM modulated across several frequencies. (Frequencies are on the order of 1**10-7 accurate. ) (levels are +/- 2 dbm accurate as measured by Tek 7L13) (tone generators work and are accurate) Fixed and variable modulation works. Recieve CW and FM modulated across several frequencies. (Frequency deviation meter is accurate as above) modulation deviation meter works sinad works (no way to calibrate) distortion meter works (no way to calibrate) recieved power works and is reasonable - did not confirm readings If there are other tests please send e-mail request (Stabilock 4039 (like 4040) service monitor was posted and is owned by: Thelma Arnold) |
