Took me a while to learn what this estate item is. It is an indicator stand set, in a steel Brown & Sharp Mfg Co marked case. The heavy base has T slots top and bottom, and is stamped with the B&S Providence info and 730. The clamp which fits the stand is stamped B&S 734. I am not sure if anything is missing, but the parts that are present are in fine condition. There is patina, but no corrosion, pitting, deterioration or damage. All three clamping mechanisms work smoothly (one at top of post, one on C clamp, and the double clamping knuckle). The case is very good, with scuffs in the paint, but having a good hinge and closure...no damage. Also found in this set is a Starrett 161-D machinists clamp.
