The 290B Impedance Bridge is used to measure resistance, conductance, inductance, and capacitance. It is also used to measure the dissipation factor and storage factor of inductors and capacitors. Resistance and conductance measurements are usually made with direct current because of the increased accuracy and the lack of stray resistance effects.
