Torlon tubing is made to be used in high temperature stressful environments. Very high maximum allowable service temperature in air (250 C continuously) Excellent retention of mechanical strength and stiffness over a wide temperature range Extremely low coefficient of linear thermal expansion up to 250 C Excellent wear & frictional behaviour (particulary TORLON 4301 PAI) Exceptional resistance against high energy radiation (gamma and X-rays) This tubing, if you can find it, sells for well over $20 per foot.
