I have had this engine listed for quite a while as a clockwise rotation. It is not I put jumper cables on it and bumped it over and it is counterclockwise from the fly wheel end. Sorry for the mistake. This is a counterclockwise rotation engine out of a boat I had, both engines were rebuilt by Stewart & Stevenson Diesel in San Antonio Tx. The engines had around 500 to 800 hours on them at time of rebuild. the reason for rebuild at such low hours was that the enviroment they were stored in ( were in an older boat that had not been run for about 10 years ) we rebuilt them with hopes of building a house boat and using them, but dad passed and brother got one and I the other this engine was run and dino tested at time of rebuild but has not ben run since I have keep it in side out of freezing wether and have rotated it 4 or 5 times a year. I have moved 4 times since dad passed and moved the engine with me thinking I might use it for something but never did so its time to part with it. This engine could also be used for a generator or on a saw mill or on any application such as in a single engine boat ( would just have to get the right prop ). Here is what specks I can get off engine. Thinks for looking. I really do need to get rid of this engine all offers well be considered. 12 Volt starter rebuilt at time of engine rebuild Governor type, DW-L.S, Idel range 500-600, RPM Gov# 5129803, and another # 5-68 may be year I don t know Numbers on block 5033-7001 and 3D-49992 The engine is set up for a out drive.
