This is a medium sized 19.5" x 23" (50cm x 58.5cm) anti-static mat that is moderately portable. It can be rolled up and put away if you have a multi-purpose work surface (also known as a kitchen table) or left in place. The coiled grounding lead has both a banana plug and clip lead to temporarily attach to a convienient ground. Used in conjunction with our wrist strap it can greatly reduce the risk of damage to parts such as that several hundred dollar processor or the one and only sample IC you have for your project.
