Blue/Black/Splash/White Bearded Silkie Hatching Eggs Our breeders are very typey. ALL have vaulted skulls with huge crests. Dark eyes and small mulberry/dark colored combs. Turquoise earlobes. Short backs; broad across the back and chest. Tight shredded wings and big fluffy cushions. Black skinned and 5 toed with excellent separation and heavy foot feathering. Our birds are fed only the best feed, with vitamin/electrolyte supplements given daily. This has made for hardy, strong, healthy birds that are excellent layers. Our fertility is 95%-98% with a hatch rate at 98%. All birds are kept in color specific pens. Eggs are marked in pencil with the color pen they came from. We do not wash our eggs as the way we have our pens set up we rarely get a soiled egg. Each egg is inspected carefully with only clean, fresh, and viable eggs being sent.
