The TAS 240 provides precise, accurate emulation of subscriber loop characteristics in a compact easy-to-use instrument. TAS 240 emulates subscriber loop impairments - including multi-frequency interference, loop noise, and impulse noise - and models the frequency response and impedance characteristics of the subscriber loop. TAS 240 thoroughly tests and evaluates today s complex voiceband communications products, including V.90 (56K) and V.34 modems and servers, and V.34 Fax.
