Here we have a nice John Deere Skiploader. It has the clamshell multi purpose bucket on it. Very handy. A great labor saver.Keeps you from having to jump off the tractor all the time. Picks up objects easily. It also acts as a dozer blade. And, when in the closed position, is a 1 yard (or there abouts) bucket.
Low hours. If you consider that 2000 hrs is 1 full time year, that is 40 hours a week for 50 weeks, you see that this unit has exceptionally low hours. The cutting edges on both the front bucket and rear gannon have not been turned over yet. The paint on this machine is in great condition as shown in the pics. I do not think it has been repainted. For goodness sakes, the paint on the buckets is not even worn off! The rear Gannon has the auxiliary valve for extra fine adjustability.
This machine was owned by l local concrete contractor. He was neighbors with United Rentals. United Rentals got him the "fleet price" on this machine on the condition of advertising for United Rentals. That why the machine has those stickers all over. This machine has never been rented out. I never bothered to take the stickers off.
The back tires have a substantial amount of tread left, but they have some checking. The fronts are somewhat worn. The cylinders for the Gannon seep a bit. The seat is torn. One of the headlights does not work.
So I decided to reseal the cylinders that seeped hydraulic oil. There were 2 cylinders on the Gannon that required attention. I resealed 1 and I noticed that the other needs a new rod. ( the shiny thing that goes in and out) It controls the rippers. I never noticed before that it was dinged up. You may still purchase the machine but it will not be available for pickup until the repair is complete. I will post when the repair is done.
