This is a hard cover book in Fine condition with somewhat dirty and tattered dust jacket. This is the 5th edition, revised, from 1969. Besides being a comprehensive survey of British blookstock, the author, who had a lifetime of study and knowledge to draw on, discusses the careers of 2500 well know horses and also gives the histories of all the Derby winners up to 1968. There are some, not a lot, photos.
