This is the Agfa Accuset 800+ Plus. Includes the Star 400 External RIP. We have this connected to a G4 Mac and have used it with great success for years. We recently upgraded to CTP and no longer use this imagesetter. The AccuSet was an all new design, sharing nothing with previous Agfa ImageSetters. This machine uses a visible red laser diode, like most modern systems, and therefore media costs a little less than infrared. The optical path is simplified, reducing the number of parts and giving a smaller footprint. You have a full 14" of media width now. The AccuSet series have been out long enough to give all of us a consistent supply of used machines in great condition. * Maximum Page Width / Page Size: 14" * Resolution: 600/1200/1800/2400/dpi * Repeatability: +/- 1 mil.
