We have here a nice "unrestored" 12 inch HD Northfield jointer. A quality item and name brand for the serious woodworker. (see pictures below) Northfield is still a viable company, and parts are still readily available if needed. http:// /Brochures-PDF/HeavyDutyJointers.pdf I have been told that a new 12" unit would run $10,000 to $12,000 new. The tag on the unIt says 12 HD. Large 8 foot bed is in good condition. It is also equipped with a "short stop clutch" for the cutter, which is a Vo-Tech requirement. This is a topnotch quality machine. All moveable parts work fine. The motor MFG. is Reuland Electric and it is 5 hp 220v 3 phase. The motor is guaranteed to run at the time of inspection and pickup. It is doubtful, because of size and weight, this unit will fit on pallets. The jointer more likely will have to be "strapped" to a flatbed, or "slid" into a box truck.
