Tough enough to have passed the stringent shock and vibration requirements of the U.S. military (MIL-STD 810), the VX-5R also boasts such signature Yaesu features as loud, crisp receiver audio, a large easy-to-read LCD display, and straightforward operation. The VX-5R is the unquestioned leader in HT technology now and into the Millennium! This VX-5R is a used HT in excellent condition. The keytop, case and glass are without wear, scratches or blemishes. Incorporates the modification for the extended TX frequencies for CAP/MARS. The batteries holds a charge very well. Included are a Yaesu FNB-58LI, lithium ion battery pack, rated at 7.2V, 1100mAh, high performance Yaesu dual-band antenna (6m extension not included), wall charger rating 12v at 300ma, and instruction manual.
