The ALLIGATOR anchor is the only anchor that extrudes the entire length of the screw. The screw extrudes and compresses all the plastic into the wall of the hole under tremendous pressure. The plastic molds and conforms exactly to the surface of the hole (including all the hole s imperfections). All forces supported by the screw are transmitted around the anchor to the wall of the hole. This provides greater holding power by distributing the force over the maximum area possible. Use ALLIGATOR anchors in any substrate in solid, thick or hollow walls. In hollow walls, the ALLIGATOR anchor wedges behind the wall to hold tight when the screw is inserted. Corrosion-resistant with stainless steel screws in all walls. The ALLIGATOR anchor s shape and anti-rotation fins wedge against the interior of the hole to prevent sinking and spinning even with the use of a screw gun. No other solid-wall anchor has this feature. Unlike common plastic anchors, ALLIGATOR anchors can be used with screws of the same nominal diameter as the anchor in high-strength substrates, providing heavy-duty holding measured in tons, not pounds.
