4-1/8" DIAMETER x 11-1/2" +/_1/8" LONG. Ultra High molecular weight (UHMW) Plastic, is often referred to as the worlds toughest plastic. UHMW has high abrasion resistance as well as high impact resistance. Also has great chemical resistance and avery low coefficent of friction. It has approx. the highest known impact strenght of any thermoplastic material presently made. Can easily machined, sawed, drilled, or fabricated. And is FDA compliant. approved by the USDA for direct contact with foods. Commonly used for gears, sprockets, bearings, wheels, slides, and various machine parts.
