The "largest" breed of chickens in the American class. Ours have black plumage with an almost green iridescent sheen. Magnificient to look at, these huge gentle giants are great layers of light to median brown eggs. Roosters average 13 lbs & the hens at 10 lbs. Their chicks have white wings and white dotted faces, and are simply adorable.
