60 hp. 3 PH. LeROI AIR COMPRESSOR ! Sooo if someone wants it-Last Chance & Thank You !...Mike I really can't say I or my Uncle know's very much about this type of compressor, but I will try to describe as best I can. It has a 3 Phase, 60 Horse Power WESTINGHOUSE LIFE-LINE TYPE CSP MOTOR, 60 Cycle, 220/440 Volt, 1760 RPM. SER-1-9G7356. Another tag states: LeROI COMPANY Model 2P160, Stroke 5, Bore 6-1/8 L.P., Bore 7-1/16 L.P., Ser 162729. I believe the tank is about a 40-50 gal. & plate says-year built-1942. It looks like it has a 120 lb. pop off on it. I can't say what the solenoid is set at or what the cfm rating would be, you may want to replace the solenoid anyway. My Uncle said he was going to change out the electric motor & put a gas engine on it & just never got around to it, he said a small v-8 should run it. It seems to be in surprisingly good shape for it's age. It's been in his warehouse for some 7-8 years. When I took it outside for picture it had just finished raining a little & that's why it looks a little wet, but it's not oil or fluid of any kind. This very compressor was used on the construction of the JEFFERSON NATIONAL EXPANSION MEMORIAL !, otherwise known as the ST.LOUIS GATEWAY ARCH ! It was used among other things to supply the paint sprayers painting the steel structure inside the arch. I got this neat vintage LeROI from my uncle who is retired now but used to own a number of business's & medium size factories in ST.LOUIS years ago. He no longer has 3 phase where he's at but said it ran fine when he last run it some 7-8 years ago & said it should still run fine. I have not seen it run myself but have gotten some very good quality tooling & machinery from my Uncle in the past.
