Time Mark Generator is generally used as a timing source calibrator. This is an ovenized reference unit. Unit oven light comes on and appears to function normally, however the unit power light does not turn on. I WILL TEST THIS UNIT if anyone shows interest in it. The Type 184 is a compact, precision-built instrument cable of producing accurate time markers for applications in the laboratory, production line or field. Sixteen time-marker selections and five sine-wave marker intervals provide time-marker selections from 2 nanoseconds to 5 seconds. Seven trigger pulse selections provide a triggering pulse rate from 1µs to 5 seconds. All outputs of the Type 184 are frequency controlled by a stable 10 MHz crystal oscillator. provides positve time marks of 1 volt minimum amplitude (into 50Ω). Marker periods are established by pushbutton MARKER SELECTOR switches. 10, 20 and 30 ns (H.F. SELECTOR must be off for 10 ns markers). Provides 2 ns or 5 ns sine-wave markers of 0.3 minimum amplitude (into 50Ω). provides positive or negative time marks of 25 V minimum amplitude (into 1kΩ). Marker intervals from 1 µs to 5 seconds established by pushbutton MARKER SELECTOR switches. Provides positive triggers of ≥0.4 V into 50Ω or ≥2.5 V into open circuit. Period established by pushbutton Selector switches. trigger periods are: 1 and 10 µs; 0.1, 1 and 10 ms; 0.1 and 1 seconds. Crystal contained in a temperature controlled oven at 75ºC. 10 MHz ±0.001% (25ºC ±5ºC), 10 MHz ±0.002% (0ºC to +50ºC) 5 minutes after turn-on if crystal oven is stabilized (instrument connected to power source for 2 hours). ≥3 parts per million in 24 hours (25ºC ±5ºC) after 2 hours continuous operation and 72 hours initial operation. 94.5 to 137.5 VAC or 189 to 275 VAC. 50 to 500 Hz. 40 Watts approximate Two hours warm-up time required after the instrument is connected to a power source, to allow crystal oven to stabilize. 5 minutes for rated accuracies at 25ºC ±5ºC (if crystal oven is stabilized). Dimensions - 9" wide, 6" high and 14 3/4" long Front panel is anodized aluminum. Cabinet is finished in blue vinyl paint.
