Endotronics Accusyst-P/3X Cell Culture System Hollow-Fiber Bioreactor Mammalian Cell Culture System Produces kilogram quantities for commercial applications In excellent condition; appears not to have been used. "The Accusyst-P/3X is an advanced mammalian cell culture instrument. It is a hollow-fiber cell culture system. Both suspension and anchorage-dependent cells are grown in the hollow-fiber bioreactors which are maintained within the system. It was designed to maintain cells in an optimal environment, one that mimics the mammalian body..." (paraphrased from Manual) We estimate that this unit is approximately 1992 vintage, but has seen little, if any, usage. It might never have been completely assembled. The unit itself appears to be complete, less PC & software and a few odds and ends, but it originally came with a PS-2, Model 50 and software which controlled the system. We do not offer a PC or software with the unit. (We could supply a PC at a nominal price, but the software would have to be obtained by the purchaser.) The top compartment is a computer controlled incubator for culture production and the bottom is a refrigerated compartment for storage of raw materials and final product. Manuals and extras included!
