Marble Dust Calcium Carbonate is calcium carbonate that has undergone metamorphosis under high pressure and high temperatures treatment. This has resulted in recrystallization, with the separation out of impurities in the form of characteristic veins known as "marbling". As a metamorphic rock, marble has a dense crystalline structure of high chemical purity and high whiteness. Use this filler to improve dimensional stability, thermal conductivity and insulating and color opacity characteristics of any of our MAX EPOXY systems. It is chemically inert and can be used up to 70% by weight. Allow the mixed resin to de-gas at room temperature or soak the container in a warm water bath and then allow to cool before adding the curing agent. Add Curing Agent and mix as described above. The the mix ratio between the Part A and Part B must be constant 2:1 even though the volume of the resin is inceased by the addtion of the filler. The MAX Colorant contains 30% reacive epoxy resin binder and will co-cure once the curing agent is added. Add the PART B or curing agent and mix gently for 1 minute. This will yiled a opaque coating that can be brush applied unto wood, metals, and plastics as a decorative high glos color coat. PLEASE VIEW THE FOLLOWING VIDEO FOR THE PROPER MIXING OF EPOXY RESIN.
