Pro300 Mini Wire and Valve Locator was introduced to the market in January 2009. It works just like the bigger Pro700 wire and valve locator. The differences are that the Pro300 has half the power and not all the bells and whistles. But it still has plenty of power for residential work. It is designed for smaller jobs like homes and invisible fences. The user simply connects the transmitter to the wire to be tracked and to the ground stake into earth ground. Turn it on. Then tracking the beeping signal on the wire you are locating. If it comes to a solenoid, valve, or valve box, the signal with amplify, indicating you've found your lost valve box. Works to about 528 feet but that varies based on conditions. The unit is brand new and comes complete with a receiver, transmitter, ground stake, and antenna.
