NEW Perlick 4 Foot Stainless Steel Exterior Glass Froster The FR series frosters are the most energy efficient cabinets Perlick has ever made - up to 33% increase in insulating R value results in a 12% reduction of heat gain - up to 50% increase in efficiency as measured in BTU per Watt - Automatic defrost cycles begin at present times and end when evaporator reaches a predetermined temperature. The evaporator heater is only on as long as needed. - The FR series glass froster's pushbutton, overnight defrost cycle shuts down the compressor and automatically turns it back on six hours later. This energy saving feature not only allows any ice buildup on the glasses to melt, but it also assures that the evaporator is free of efficiency reducing ice buildup even in the most extreme environments. - On this 2 foot froster you could save as much as 6% annually in electricity cost.
