TORQUE THRUST CELL ITI MOVATS CRANE NUCLEAR You are looking at a Torque Thurst Cell made by ITI MOVATS Westinghouse then in 1997 Crane Nuclear bought them up they sell this same unit The TTC was designed for in-place testing of motor-operated valves (MOVs) driven by torque-producing actuators. The TTC directly measures both torque and thrust forces simultaneously. It utilizes a radial shear web structure with a series of strain gages to achieve exceptionally high accuracies. The data can be used to determine MOV performance, operability, and stem factor. The unique split-body design of the TTC allows quick and easy installation without removing the actuator. It's designed for temporary or permanent installations, and can qualified as a permanent plant component for online monitoring. Signal outputs are calibrated directly in pounds of thrust and foot-pounds of torque, eliminating any potential material property issues or correlation factor errors. On-valve calibration and calculations are not required. here is the description http://cranenuclear.stores.yahoo.net/2-22110.html (Torque thrust cell iti movats crane nuclear was posted and is owned by: Dominique Reeves) |
