This is a very interesting volt and amp test meter. Interesting because of the many labeled connector terminals and the fact that the whole metal meter turns to match the volt or amp range you are hooked to. It was manufactured by the Hoyt Electrical Instrument Works of Penacook, New Hampshire with a patent date of April 13, 1920. The metal parts are nickel plated brass. All parts are present and work freely. I measured a 1-1/2 volt battery and it worked fine. The meter reads right on zero and moves freely. The case is mahogany. On both ends are three terminals and below them are the range of amps or volts you can measure. One end reads 30 Amps, 3 Amps and 90 Mil-V, the other end reads:30 Volts, 3 Volts and +. Around the base of the meter it reads all of those values except the +. The wooden bottom has four brass screws and can be removed. Priority mail would be based upon two pounds from ZIP 98682.
