Brand New Wallenstein BX42S, Self-Feeding 3-Point Mounted Self Feeding Wood Chipper. * The BX42 Chipper comes Complete and Ready to use including the PTO Shaft, extra Shear Bolts and even a pair of Safety Glasses! * The BX42 Chipper has 4 Double Sided, Hardened Tool Steel, Presharpened Rotor Blades and 1 Anvil Blade. * BX42 Chippers have Hinged Feed Hoppers (Intake Chute). This is very accommodating for Storage and Transportation. Plus, the BX42 can easily be converted to a Hydraulic Roller Feeding Chipper simply by replacing the Standard Hopper with a Hydraulic Roller Feeding Hopper. Switch Hoppers at the 2 Hinge Bolts and you have a new machine! * Although we always have BX42's in Stock, the Inventory colors "may" vary! * Chips 4" Diameter Timber or 10" wide Lumber. * Unlike the Gravity Feed system used by other Chippers, this BX42 Chipper is truly a Self Feeding Chipper. Consequently, the operator does not need to constantly work or push the material into the Feed Hopper - it will Draw the material in by itself! * One additional Huge Advantage is seen in the positioning of the Feed Hoppers. Because the Gravity Feed Chippers do not Draw the material in, their Hoppers are upright, making it awkward to get material into it, particulalry the longer pieces which will obviously need to be cut down to manageable lengths! With the Self Feeding feature of the BX42, the Feed Hopper is nearly parallel to earth, making it a "Piece O' Cake" to feed even the longest and heaviest pieces. This obviously eliminates the need to cut down the longer lengths of timber!
