This is an EMS Power Model D437 Battery Backed Power Supply providing 12 Volts at 1 Amp output. These are used for maintaining radio systems, WiFi hubs, etc during power outages and handy for Raynet or packet relays. The strong steel box box measures 224 x 224 x 80mm and comes with lid fixing screws and washers. The large internal dryfit battery is 7 AH capacity and there is a red LED at the top right of the box.
