While there are many types of lighting available, drop lights, strip lights, and flash lights to name a few, they fall short of being fully useful at times. Having both hands tied up and trying to direct some light is a task in itself (these are the times we all wished we had three or more hands to complete the task). Simple and resourceful, this unit offers: a hands free clip-on light, a third eye, utilizing the brightest LEDs todays technology has to offer (10,000 candle power). The light element houses an array of three optically focused LEDs with and external power source that could either be worn or placed in a shirt-pants pocket, belt. Originally intended to be clipped to the nose bridge of a pair of glasses (safety glasses for instance) the use is really limitless. For instance, one could clip the light element to a shirt pocket, a base ball cap rim or a head band to name a few, the use is only limited to ones own imagination and the desire to see what you are doing. The power source comes from a 9 V DC battery and as an option one could use a rechargeable battery since the internal circuitry already supports it and has the external power supply jack already supplied, all you have to do is use you own a-c to 9 V DC power supply (available separately or at any electronic store, Radio Shack for instance). There is a switch on the unit that lets you control the brightness level. Need light in a tight spot? The UNI-LIGHT can be positioned to illuminate difficult to reach locations. The unique, cool to the touch light head easily attaches to small wires or connectors. No more bulky flashlights that must be held in Place. The UNI-LED allows you to easily reach up under the dash to check wire colors or components, hands free! The 3ft long flexible cord connects to the hand held battery pack which can be placed in a convenient location. In locations where a drop-light would not fit, use the bright UNI-LED to locate loose connectors. Excellent for the professional or shadetree mechanic!
