This is the HL-85 designed to replace HPS high bay fixtures in its commercial application. We refer to it at the chicken feeder. Its ugly but it has it wher it counts. It delivers equal or more foot candles to the gorw task than a 1000 watt HPS. It does this without ballasts. When you measure the light being delivered by an HPS 1000 at the distance these light need to be inorder to keep from burning the plants we get about 10,000 foot candles on our meters.
