For sale is a Whitfield tree planter model F 85-s. I am not sure of the year, but this is in EXCELLENT working condition. You could plant today with it. It has been extremely well cared for. Washed thoughly after each season and stored indoors. This is a very heavy duty machine and weighs about 4,000 lbs. In the future, if replacement parts are needed, they are the same as todays model. I used a 50 horse D-17 Allis Chalmers tractor and it handled this machine fine. With sufficient help, I could average 1,000 trees an hour.
All my acreage is planted in trees, so have decided to sell this machine.
This machine includes the Seedling Spacer system.
Today's model with Spacer System sells for nearly $20,000.
