These utilise a 2 stage configuration using Fujitsu RF devices. Gain is 17dB over the stated frequency range. Amplifier is biased for class"A" operation. 1-2W RF drive is required to give full RF O/P in class "A" bias (default). Power supply requirement is -5VDC for the bias supply ( must be applied first) and +10VDC @ approximately 24A. These were used for VSB TV transmitters and are quite linear. ( the bias supplies for each device can be seen in the second image) Ideal for long haul 2.4GHz video or data links and also for laboratory use as an RF calibration source for testing of antennas and power meters. Module must be used with adequate heatsink. Has internal directional coupler for monitoring of forward & reflected power. Guaranteed fully functional. ( note bias supply requirement!!!.
