Advanced Micro-Based Magnetic Contact & Glassbreak The FG-1008 gives you two sensors in one for maximum versatility and performance. Instantaneously converts sound vibrations into mathematical sequences to accurately identify the signal pattern of breaking glass. Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Microcontroller based technology instantaneously converts sound into digital mathematical sequences to accurately identify the signal pattern of breaking glass. With DSP, the FG-1008 performs extensive analysis on signal variables including: flex/audio thresholds; ratios and durations; time coincidence; attack thresholds; and microphone overloads. Denote detection of sound events and alarm condition. Alarm LED can be set to latch upon alarm; helps identify which FG-1008 alarmed in multiple detector applications. The PCB is protected from potential damage during installation. Remote Test Mode Enable and Disable Can be tested remotely with the FG-701 Tester. Automatically resets from test mode in 10 minutes. Mount within 2.4m of the glass to be protected. No sensitivity adjustment required. Power Up and Continuous Self Test If any test fails, the unit will signal trouble by alternately flashing the indicator LEDs.
