Wohlhaupter Boring Head UPA 3/15714 (German Made.) Imperial .0005"
I'm clearing and old workshop found this boring head. I'm told it's probarly the best boring heads made. Looks to be in very good condition.
I'm not an expert on this type of equipment and so I can't give you anymore info. other than what you see in he photo. I've tested the radial adjustment and this works OK.
Regarding the taper on the arbour. The large diameter measures 33.1mm and it tapers down to 25mm diameter over 50mm along the axis. I calculate the inclusive angle to be about 9.1 degrees. I used a vernier to take the measurements and so there might be a small error, but you able to identify the taper from this info?
There are two drive keys diagonally opposite measuring 1/2" wide.
There is a threaded hole in the end which looks to be something like an M10 or 3/8" course thread.
I'll be happy to answer questions if you need.
