DEER LOVE TO CHEW ON THE TENDER NEW GREEN BARK BUT THEIR RAPID GROWTH THE TREE USUALLY WINS THE BATTLE! HUNTERS CAN CREATE AN INSTANT WOODS AND ATTRACT DEER! Please keep in mind they grow best in full sun and partial shade they do quite well if it is on the sunnier side. But dense shade like in a woods they may barely grow or not grow at all.
