PROTECTS CNC OUTPUT PINS FROM DAMAGING VOLTAGES This circuit is made to keep damaging voltages away from your print port output pins for one axis of step and direction signals. It can be wired directly into your system breakout board, accepting step and direction signals and re-outputting them to your driver board with a signal amplified to +5 volts. It comes with complete wiring instructions. It requires a +5 volt power signal from either a wall plug power supply, or your computer. If you have an incident that would have damaged your printer port, having this circuit wired in line will prevent damage to the printer port in your computer. All that you will damage now will be a low cost 7414 ic chip, replace it and you will again be operational., We keep them in stock.
