Securitron UnLatch Motorized Electronic Strike Securitron’s patented UnLatch is a completely new type of electric door releasing device which sweeps away the limitations inherent in traditional electric strike designs. The UnLatch screws into the existing door frame in seconds. There is no need for routing a special cutout. This not only saves on installation labor, but maintains the original strength and integrity of the door frame and yields a fully concealed installation for maximum esthetic appeal. The UnLatch is highly universal in that one version will operate any North American cylindrical type dead latch or spring latch and installs in wood, steel or aluminum door frames. Unlike conventional electric strikes, the UnLatch also releases under pressure and includes a latch status monitoring output as a standard feature.
