2 WG16 (WR90) Antennas with standard round ‘quick-change’ flanges; 1. / A slot antenna in the design used in radar, consisting of 12 slots along a 350mm length of waveguide. 2. / A polyrod end-fire directional dielectric antenna consisting of a polystyrene rod energized by a section of WG16 waveguide. A polyrod antenna is a cylindrical shaped polystyrene rod a few wavelengths long. When properly excited, the polyrod acts as an endfire antenna.
