CLOS 40 - 12 Volt Battery Powered Energizer The ideal portable lightweight energizer for short fences. It is equipped with a power output control dial that allows you to adjust the output power according to your specific requirements. For example: training periods or normal enclosure and then to reduce the battery usuage in normal operation once the animals are trained. This unit uses a 12 Volt wet cell battery or a 9 volt dry cell battery. Battery fits in plastic case. Plus it has terminals for connecting the solar panel to the outside of the case front. Power output is 150-600mj. Power consumption is 43MA with a 12 volt battery. In perfect conditions it can energizer up to 3 linear miles of wire. This energizer is also equiped with ACCU-PROTECT which has new functions that include automatic switching from full power consumption to ECO 1/5 immediately once the power supply drops to 20% of its capacity. It also has an incorporated safety feature that shuts off the energizer before the battery is completely drained, thus preventing permanent damage to the battery (Each time a battery is completely drained without recharging the battery life is shortened) This ACCU-PROTECT feature allows the battery to retain 100% of its capacity. Battery Power Equalizer - Guarantees a constant output from the energizer regardless of the power level of the battery 3 Color Battery Test - On the energizer, just press the white button. The LED will light up in either green, orange or red according to the remaining current in the battery. The light will not remain on when 10% or less of it's capacity is available. For added peace of mind, purchase and install the Lightning Diverter (Part # 667.102) for access to a 4 year warranty on the energizer. See below for details. This is an unlimited warranty for a full 4 years, even against lightening strikes. In order to claim this warranty the consumer must have a valid proof of purchase, like the original sales receipt in the name of the owner. The consumer must have returned the warranty card that was the energizer at time of purchase to Farm Supply Store. The consumer must have the LACME Lightning installed on the fence with the energizer, and must be returned with the energizer at time of the warranty claim. (Please see the lightning diverter in the Farm Supply Store #667.102) The energizer will be replaced or repaired at the expense of Farm Supply Store, and a new lightning diverter will be issued also back with the energizer. Failure to comply with the aspects of this warranty will of course void its validity. * These reading can vary depending upon many conditions that might exist in your area. Always measure the actual Joule output at the end of the fence while the fence is new and correlate this reading on the numbers shown in the digital display for accuracy when using the display for monitoring the quality of the fence.
