Allen Bradley Ethernet Visual Basic Database Logging Program This Visual Basic program was written using Visual Basic 6.0 and provides the capabiltiy to log data from five seperate Allen-Bradley PLC's via the included Ethernet driver to an Access database. You can enable each PLC individually and each PLC has a trigger bit that you can change. The program reads the trigger bit based on the user set polling time and whenever the trigger bit is on the program reads the data from the PLC and logs the data to the Access database. A date and time stamp is also included with each database logging. You can also change the address and length of the data to read for each PLC from 1 to 50 data points. The data points must be continuous in each PLC. From a drop down list you can select the type of PLC you are using. You can select fron an SLC 5/05, MicroLogix 1100/1400, or any DF1 Allen Bradley PLC via the 1761-NET-ENI selection. Since this supports the Allen Bradley 1761-NET-ENI module this allows you to read and log data from your older DF1 processors via your Ethernet network.
