A brand-new digital temperature Indicator ("Pyrometer") that displays degrees F (or we can switch it to show °C if you like). Can be used for ceramic kilns, glass kilns, heat-treat ovens, or any other similar application. The microprocessor-based product is designed, manufactured and calibrated in North America.This module is housed in an aluminum surface-mount box with a back-printed Lexan overlay. Also supplied is a 120VAC AC adapter. Can be used for: * Ceramic Kiln- ideal replacement for inaccurate analog meters or hard-to-read and often inaccurate LCD meters * Paint Oven such including Powder Coating * Bright red 0.56" tall LED display visible in less than ideal lighting conditions * Cool running for long life, compact 4" x 3.5" x 1.2" size * 4-digit display indicates from -50°F to 2500°F or (or optionally by order in degrees C) * Accurate and stable circuitry from 25+ years experience Note: The thermocouple sensor is not included (use any standard type K "Chromel-Alumel" sensor). If the sensor wires are extended it is necessary to use thermocouple extension wire or the accuracy will be compromised.
