User- and installer-friendly, the CBR-9CSq is so easy to operate that no setup is required. Calibur s exclusive AutoInstall feature can automatically sense which camera inputs are connected and then automatically configure the unit to record those cameras. If video is lost from a camera, automatic video loss detection will notify the user. The CBR-9CSq also uses VEXT, a feature that ensures multiplexer and VCR synchronization regardless of the selected recording speed or how often the recording speed is changed. Even 24-hr real-time VCRs can be easily synchronized with VEXT. The CBR-9CSq automatically begins recording when it receives a VCR s VEXT pulse. VCR setup is accomplished through an external DIP switch or by connecting to the VEXT feature. Broadcast-quality video output is provided with 720-pixel resolution. The user has several display options: nine-way, quad, full-screen, and sequencing full-screen views. Additional features include AutoList and a one-touch freeze button. AutoList enables users to create custom sequence lists and custom dwell times. The freeze button pauses playback for closer scrutiny of any frame. But no matter how the live images are displayed, the CBR-9CSq is always locked in record mode eliminating the chance of operator error.
